Tell us about your role as a Sr. HR Manager?

As a regional HR leader I support the HR functions in four Fulfillment Centers, which includes every facet from recruiting, employee relations, to training development.

What makes a successful Amazonian?

The willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump right into the heat of things. Every function is different and the more passion you throw in, the easier it is to collaborate.

What is the one leadership principle that resonates with you?

‘Earning the trust of others’ is the principle that resonates the most with me. It is important to build credibility with your teammates and business partners and also ensure that people really trust and lean on you for support.

What is your military background?

I was in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years in Personnel Administration.

What makes veterans successful at Amazon?

We’re engaging our associates the same way we would have in the military. There is a great deal of leadership expectations. It is the best place to demonstrate your leadership in an inspiring way. It’s about making people feel good about their contributions.

What do you think is your biggest strength?

My passion around employee engagement. I truly believe that when your employees are happy and engaged, they are delivering a great product to your customer.
